I. Statement on Privacy Policies
Better Insulation has posted this statement voluntarily as a courtesy to our visitors and members because we feel it is the right thing to do. We strongly believe that the government does not have the right to require anyone to post anything on their Web site. The First Amendment protects your right to publish any legal material. The government does not have the right to tell you (or us) what to say or to apply political pressure to force you to post "voluntary" labels, as present pending litigation is trying to do. We don't feel the government has to tell us what we have to do to operate in an honest and forthright manner. We do this by our own conscience and our integrity. That being said, law or no, we disclose this privacy policy and make it available here. Thank you for your support. We appreciate every one of you and will do our very best to provide you with the best information we can. We welcome all input and constructive criticism.

Our doors are open as are our minds and hearts. We actively seek mutual strengthening through positive associations within the industry and with interested individuals throughout the world.
III. How we use data collected on this site.
For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the visitor's domain name, but not the email address (where possible, as some domains do automatically provide email addresses of the visitor and we do not store these for contact use).
We collect only the domain name, but not the email address of visitors to our web page, the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages visitors access, information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information and/or site registrations and subscriptions to newsletters and information requests.
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page and used by us to contact businesses for marketing purposes. We do not market directly to consumers, only to other businesses, unless requested to do so by the consumer. Entering a free drawing, contest or promotion by supplying your email address indicates a willingness to receive occasional information about related products. Again, this will be done only through us, but the product may come from another, pre-approved company and tested product for your consideration.

We will never release your email address, ever, for any reason, unless by court order for investigations of fraud or abuse or harassment, and then the evidence will have to be compelling.
If you supply us with your postal address online you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. Also you may receive mailings from other reputable companies that we do check out for you. All companies we do business with must have policies on par with our own regarding integrity and honesty and disclosure. Please provide us with your exact name and address. We will be sure your name is removed from the list we share with other organizations.
You also may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding new products and services or upcoming events if you are a business and if you give us permission if you are a consumer.
